At some point in time, we wonder about a lot of things going on in our lives. Are we leading ourselves to the right path? How does it feel to live a life more fulfilling? Often, we shrug it off and accept the thought that, anyway, someday in the future, we will get there and find our purpose in life. However, the question lingers, “If not now, when?”
So, we go about our day trying to live up to our roles as an employer or employee, a loving child to our parents, and a caring parent to our children, but at the end of the day, these questions cross our minds, “What is the true meaning of my life? At this moment in time, am I content? Do I consider myself happy?” This can cause us to lose track of valuing what we have today, and worse, we begin to compare ourselves to friends and family members who we think have succeeded in life. We also start to see our work and ourselves as something small and bores almost no resemblance to what sort of life we’ve been dreaming of.
The reason why I am saying this is because, while I have been going through the same struggles, I have discovered something that helped me and I want to share it with you in this video.
If we take time to dig deep through our thoughts and make an effort to understand how we are adding value to our life in whichever role we are playing, we will probably start finding our life more meaningful. By doing that, we might just start to see the bigger picture and realize a certain feeling of fulfillment which we will begin to appreciate. Most of you might already be at the peak of your success but if you forget to pause and take a step back to look at the impact you have created not just for you but for the people surrounding you, you will fail to see what you have achieved so far. Worse, you will fail to see that this might be your true purpose in life.
